We must have known
that Indonesia is one of Asia countries which rich in natural resources. But in
fact, million of Indonesian are living in poverty. As I see it, there are some
factors that causing huge poverty in Indonesia
What causes poverty?
1. Lack of skills and education
Skills and education plays a very important part in the job
opportunities. Without good skills it is impossible to get a job that pays
enough to provide for the basic needs of humans
2. Rapid population growth
In
Indonesia, the population is increasing rapidly. it has affected the
unemployment in this country. It is because the rate of available job
could never have been as high as population growth in Indonesia
How Many people are living in poverty in Indonesia?
It’s sad to see this poverty
are getting brutal. More than half of Indonesia's 225 million people in
Indonesia have incomes below the poverty line.
What’s The Solution For Poverty?
There is no easy solution as to get out of poverty. But we just can’t sit around and wait for government to act.
The best way to deal with the issue of poverty is through education. Improve
education, and control the population by teaching birth control and educate the
masses. Indonesia has abundant natural resources if only they are managed well.
by improving skills and education, i'm sure that one day indonesia would be able
to get out of poverty. "together, we can make a difference"
